Three-Year Warranty Policy

Ceramoro lighting is created with care and intended to be lived with for years. Eligible Ceramoro lighting fixtures are covered by a three-year limited warranty against qualifying defects in materials and workmanship.

This warranty is separate from shipping protection. For loss, theft, missing items, or damage occurring during delivery, please review our Shipping Protection Policy.

Warranty Period

The warranty lasts for three years from the date the order is delivered.

Coverage applies only to the original purchaser and requires valid proof of purchase directly from Ceramoro.

Replacement parts or products do not begin a new warranty period. They remain covered for the remainder of the original three-year period, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

What the Warranty Covers

Subject to inspection and approval, the warranty covers manufacturing defects that affect the safe operation, structure, or normal use of the fixture, including:

  • Defective lampholders, switches, cords, drivers, or electrical components supplied with the fixture

  • Structural failure occurring during normal and appropriate use

  • Loose, separated, or incorrectly assembled components caused by manufacturing

  • Ceramic components that crack without impact, misuse, or installation damage

  • Failure of an eligible component during normal use

  • A product that materially differs from the specifications confirmed by Ceramoro

Coverage applies only when the fixture has been correctly installed, used, and maintained according to its specifications and applicable electrical regulations.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The three-year warranty does not cover:

  • Loss, theft, missing items, or damage occurring during delivery

  • Accidental damage, impact, dropping, or breakage

  • Damage occurring while unpacking, handling, installing, removing, or relocating the product

  • Incorrect installation, wiring, assembly, or mounting

  • Installation or repair performed by an unqualified person

  • Use with an incorrect voltage, bulb base, bulb type, or wattage

  • Voltage fluctuations, power surges, or building electrical faults

  • Normal wear, ageing, discoloration, or cosmetic deterioration

  • Bulbs and other consumable components

  • Damage caused by moisture, water, excessive humidity, heat, or outdoor use unless the product is expressly rated for those conditions

  • Misuse, neglect, improper storage, or inadequate maintenance

  • Damage caused by abrasive materials, chemicals, or unsuitable cleaning products

  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, alterations, or disassembly

  • Parts or accessories not supplied or approved by Ceramoro

  • Commercial or unusually intensive use unless approved by Ceramoro in writing

  • Natural changes to unlacquered metals, including patina, oxidation, and tonal development

  • Minor differences in glaze, texture, shape, color, or dimensions associated with handcrafted production

  • Small marks or visual characteristics that do not affect the fixture’s safe operation or intended use

  • Labor, electrician, inspection, removal, installation, or reinstallation costs

  • Loss of use, project delays, indirect losses, or damage to other property, except where required by applicable law

Natural variations associated with handcrafted materials and production are not manufacturing defects.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Email support@ceramoro.com and provide:

  • Your full name

  • Order number

  • Product name

  • A description of the issue

  • A photograph of the complete fixture

  • Clear close-up photographs of the affected component

  • A short video if the problem is electrical or intermittent

  • Information about the bulb, voltage, and installation, where relevant

We may request additional photographs, measurements, installation details, or confirmation from a qualified electrician before determining eligibility.

Do not discard, modify, or attempt to repair the affected component until we have reviewed the claim.

Electrical Safety

Immediately stop using the fixture if it:

  • Has exposed or damaged wiring

  • Produces unusual heat or odors

  • Sparks

  • Flickers unexpectedly

  • Appears loose, damaged, or electrically unsafe

Disconnect the fixture from electricity before inspecting it. Hardwired fixtures must be inspected, installed, and repaired by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations.

Ceramoro cannot provide remote advice as a substitute for professional electrical work.

Warranty Resolution

If a claim is approved, Ceramoro may, depending on the issue:

  • Provide troubleshooting or installation guidance

  • Send a replacement component

  • Repair the eligible component where practical

  • Replace the affected product

  • Offer another appropriate remedy if repair or replacement is unavailable

Ceramoro will determine the appropriate resolution after assessing the product, supporting evidence, availability, and nature of the defect.

Replacement components may differ slightly in glaze, texture, color, or metal patina because of natural variation between production batches.

Additional Rights

This limited warranty provides specific contractual benefits. It does not exclude, restrict, or replace any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer-protection law.
